Concept & Plans

Tremper is organized into three zones, Art / Ecology / Hospitality, each a short walk apart, each designed by a different architect. Together they make a year-round home for artists, neighbors, and visitors. A small hotel anchors the project and helps fund the cultural and ecological work at its core — with most of the 182 acres left open.

  • A cultural arts center — performances, exhibitions, classes, workshops, and artist residencies — carrying forward twenty-five years of Mount Tremper Arts.

  • A flower farm, native fruit orchard, native plant nursery, classes & retreats in regenerative practice, and the majority of our land preserved as wilderness.

  • The economic engine behind our mission-based work: Hotel @ Tremper is a 40-room boutique landscape hotel and spa — a place of caretaking, built on the conviction that community benefit and economic sustainability reinforce each other.
